We're Eddie and Tiffani McLendon.
Long before ET Mutt Hutt became a business, it was simply our home—a place where family, hard work, and a love for animals have always been at the center of our lives.
After more than 22 years serving my community through the school system, I followed a calling that had quietly been growing for years. What began with caring for our own dogs soon became something much bigger. Friends asked if I could care for theirs, and before long, those friends told others. We never imagined it would become what it is today.
One of the greatest lessons this journey has taught us is that when someone hands us their dog's leash, they aren't simply dropping off a pet. They're placing their trust in us.
That trust is something we never take for granted.
Eddie has been beside me through every step of this journey. He's the steady presence behind so much of what makes ET Mutt Hutt feel like home. Whether he's building something with his own hands, caring for the property, greeting dogs at the gate, or quietly making sure everything is ready before the first family arrives, he brings the same patience, kindness, and work ethic to ET Mutt Hutt that he brings to our own family every day.
Together, we've built ET Mutt Hutt the same way we've built our life—side by side, with hard work, faith, and a genuine love for the people and dogs who come through our gate.
One thing we never expected was that our clients would become part of our lives.
When you drop your dog off with us, something special happens.
You become family.
We've celebrated new puppies, weddings, new babies, new homes, and life's happiest moments alongside the families we serve. We've also stood beside them through some of the hardest days, grieving the loss of beloved companions that left paw prints on all of our hearts. Somewhere along the way, our clients became our friends, and those friendships have become one of the greatest blessings of this business.
We never set out to create that.
It simply happened because people trusted us with someone they love.
When we're not caring for dogs, you'll usually find us working around the farm, spending time with our children and grandchildren, or enjoying a quiet evening on the porch together. We've learned that life's greatest blessings are rarely found in extraordinary moments—they're found in ordinary ones, shared with the people and animals you love.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
We look forward to welcoming your family into ours.
Because Trust Makes Memories Possible.
